Thank you for your interest in my dairy goats. I have a herd that includes the Saanen, Oberhasli and Experimental Breeds.

I use a management program that includes feeding Eastern Oregon alfalfa, local hay, and browse. The milkers receive from 2 to 4 lbs. of 16% dairy ration daily. All animals have access to free choice salt, minerals and baking soda.  I follow a CAE prevention plan with annual testing and pasteurization--the herd is abscess free.  All animals are kept up to date on their vaccinations and are wormed regularly.  

I show at 10 or more shows each year.  In 2005 I attended the National Show in Spokane. Misty, who was six, was Reserve National Champion and Total Doe.  I had 1st in Best Three Junior Does, 1st in Best Three Senior Does and 2nd in Dairy Herd.  Because they did so well, I was Premier Exhibitor and Premier Breeder.  It was a VERY exciting show.  In 2006, three milkers went to the National Show in Indianapolis.  Rococo was the Reserve National Champion and Reserve National Udder this year.  I again had 1^st in Best Three Senior Does.  Rococo and her twin, Reveille - owned by Tony Seibert, were 1^st place Produce of Dam.  It was another very exciting National Show.  In 2007, I took Toblerone, Reality and Vixen to Gillette where Toblerone was National Champion and  National Udder.  I again had 1^st in Best Three Senior Does.

I linear appraise annually and have been on group milk test for nine years now.  We have had at least one doe make the breed leader list every year we have been on test. .

All of this contributes to a herd that I am proud of for showing well and milking well--one that I enjoy being with whether at home or on the road!

Because of family and health problems, most of the herd is being sold.  I will be keeping two goats here at the farm to supply milk.
